The East Tennessee hills are famous for the moonshiners who stay one step ahead of the law. Since making the untaxed corn liquor was illegal, it had to be done in secret, maybe at night, with only the moon to light the operation – hence how Moonshiners got their name. A laser engraved “whiskey barrel” pays homeage to the history of East Tennessee on each knife and flask.
