The East Tennessee hills are famous for the moonshiners who stay one step ahead of the law even today. One theory as to how moonshiners got the name? Since making the untaxed corn liquor was illegal, it had to be done in secret, maybe at night, with only the moon to light the operation. A laser engraved “whiskey barrel” is home to each pocketknife and its accompanying flask (foam inserts keep the knives and flasks scratch-free).
