The pinched bolsters also feature a slant R design. The blade opens with a match strike pull. Unlike a standard nail nick or long pull, a match strike pull has serrations inside the groove of the pull. These serrations allow you to strike a match with your knife. The blade uses the half stops and slip joints found in traditional pocket knives.
